Mobile Phone Challenge By Vilma P.

Perjantaina tein itselleni pienen puhelinkuvaus haasteen. Akku puhelimesta pääsi loppumaan kesken reissun, mutta tein loppuun kirjoitetun ”Day with me” version englanniksi. Kaikki kuvat ovat siis kuvattu Sonyn puhelimellani ja käsitelty VSCO applikaatiolla.

I did a little mobile phone challenge on Friday. I challenged myself to photograph photos with my mobile phone that are good enough to make a blog post. It’s over a year since I las time put a photo on my blog that was taken with a phone. I got inspired to take pictures in Manchester and I didn’t have my camera with me so I decided to do this. So all the pics are taken with my Sony mobile phone and edited with VSCO app.

13th Friday – Day with me

6.45 Wake up, coffee with coconut oil and eggs for breakfast, make up.

8.00 Getting the train to Manchester. Writing blog posts on the train.

9.20 Arrived to Manchester and bought an umbrella. Had a coffee also.

10.00 Polaroid shooting in Boss Model Management, my agency in UK. This shooting was because of one international underwear company looking for models and I haven’t done underwear shooting for a while. That was funny and the light was just perfect because the sun was shining outside for the time of the photo shoot..

10.45 I went in a cafe near by to do a bit of work and had a green smoothie.

12.00-14.00 Walking around Manchester, I really start to know this place. 😉 There are a lot of interesting stores in Manchester. For example I love a little book shop in Oldham Street. I almost bought a coloring book for adults.. Do you know that it´s a great meditation method? I bought two other books anyway: one photography book and one named ”It´s not how good you are, It´s how good you want to be.”

I also bought MY BIGGEST MATERIALIST DREAM! Haha, I did the purchase of my life. I’ve been dreaming about this for over a year and this week I finally decided that now I´m going to buy it. I bought Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens. The best lens what I know and I´m so excited!! Okay, no more shopping before Christmas. 😉

14.00 I went back to the office and I had a casting for one campaign. The client was really nice. They browsed through my book, asked some questions and took some pictures like in castings usually.

15.00 I went to have some food in Fig & Sparrow which is one of my favorites in Manchester. I took carrot-hummus salad with wheat free bread and for dessert I had Jasmin tea and gluten free vegan brownie. I really enjoyed them. I used my time to do a bit of work before leaving for the train station.

17.30 On the train I read my new books. They both are really inspiring and I did some notes as well (like usually when I read :D).

19.00 Arrived at home. My boyfriend was waiting me with dinner ready to be served. ♥ I ate organic chicken and later a green smoothie bowl and a little class of wine. I´m happy because of the weekend!

20.00— I tried my new lens and totally love it!! I also did a bit of cleaning around the house, did some photoshopping and Instagram etc. I’m working too late… 😉

00.00 Just before going to sleep I got a notification from Facebook saying that many of my friends in Paris have changed their status to safe. I started to read the news and was shocked straight away. I´m so sad about this situation in the world and because of people losing their loved ones. I still believe that love, kindness and goodness will win. This tragedy has also showed how much love there still is. What can we on the outside do more, we can care, pray and love more. Not just for the people in France but also all the people around the world without limits.

I hope you liked this different kind of post. 🙂
